There has never been a finer college jersey than an Allen Iverson Georgetown jersey. Back in the early to mid 90s there was not a kid alive in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area caught dead in any other college jersey but Allen Iverson’s Georgetown jersey. He was a trouble maker throughout all of his childhood. The final blow came in high school when he was arrested for a major fight at a bowling alley. He was sentenced to time in jail and served it till the governor of Virginia pardoned his sentence so he could attend Georgetown University and wear the Allen Iverson Georgetown jersey on the basketball court.

Once Allen and John Thompson, head coach of the Georgetown Hoyas, finally got on the same page, John allowed Allen to put on his Allen Iverson Georgetown jersey. The kid was unstoppable as he and his teammates were mowing down most opponents. Once Allen Iverson’s Georgetown jersey was put on him he was setting all kinds of individual marks in scoring, steals, and assists.

In his final year at Georgetown, Allen led his team to the sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. He finished second to only Patrick Ewing as far as best player ever to play at Georgetown. Allen Iverson’s Georgetown jersey hangs in the rafters of the gymnasium now as a reminder to all how good he was then and still is now.
